Hosted by Friends of UW Health to support women cancer patients at UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center, our event will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Garver Feed Mill, Madison, Wisconsin. The evening will consist of a strolling dinner and signature drinks, a raffle, a silent and live auction, and a fashion show featuring women cancer survivors. Proceeds from the event will support women receiving treatment at UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center through our patient and family assistance program and Friends of UW Health’s Wig Salon. The patient and family assistance program supports housing, transportation, utilities, medical equipment, supplies, and non-covered health services. This program is designed to help stabilize patients in urgent situations and improve outcomes for many of our most vulnerable patients. The wig salon provides high-quality wigs, turbans, and scarves at no charge for UW Health patients experiencing hair loss due to medical treatment.
