Student Support

The next generation of passionate health care leaders begins at the University of Wisconsin (UW) School of Medicine and Public Health.

Our medical, graduate and health professions students explore areas of medicine in a variety of settings – from University Hospital and other regional medical centers, state-of-the-art laboratories to community clinics. They join residents, fellows and postdoctoral students in learning from a faculty of internationally acclaimed teachers in more than 25 basic science and clinical departments.

By investing in student support, you can help ensure the success of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, our students and the future of medicine.

Your contribution to student scholarships can:

  • Support students by helping to fund their tuition and other education expenses, lessening the stress related to the financial burden

  • Allow students the opportunity to pursue research, projects and ideas that may shape the future of health care

  • Provide medical students the freedom to choose a specialty based not on compensation, but on inspiration

A gift to support scholarships can ease financial burdens and leave a lasting legacy, one that will not only impact promising students but also the patients and communities they will serve.
